Every week, about 656 million users visit the Apple App Store. These are data from the company itself, which, according to the Transparency Report, on December 31, 2022, said that the platform contained, cumulatively, 1.8 million applications. During that year 2022, Apple eliminated 428,000 developer accounts and 186,195 apps (39,000 for games, 20,000 for utilities, 17,000 for businesses…), among others, due to poor design, operation or potential fraud. Because it is worrying that it detected and blocked transactions with obvious signs of fraud for an amount of 2090 million dollars (I repeat, in just one year). I have a good source that the revenue Apple receives through its Store is very -very- large, just as the human, technical and mostly economic resources it needs to invest in maintaining its purity are excessive. Not all that glitters is gold,
You see them where you are looking..
