Through a teaser, Huawei has announced that it will launch a new smartwatch on March 23, 2023. Interestingly, the smartwatch appears to have satellite connectivity like the Apple Watch Ultra.
This can be seen from the teaser image shared by Huawei, which shows half of the smartwatch itself and a satellite view. From the design, Huawei Watch Ultimate looks tough with its metal frame potential.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate will be the first smartwatch from Huawei to have a satellite connection. As you know, recently there has been a lot of talk about satellite communication since Apple introduced it in the iPhone 14 as well as the Apple Watch Ultra at the end of 2023.
However, Huawei has not provided more information about the smartwatch. It is not yet known if the wear will be part of the Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro, which do not yet have a release date, but there is a possibility that they will also be released together.
On the same March 23, Huawei will also launch the Huawei P60 series and the Mate X3 series. The two smartphones are also said to have satellite calling features.
