Is Botox the reason Lisa Marie Presley died so young? – Daily Movie

The mystery surrounding Lisa Marie Presley’s sudden death earlier this year has finally been revealed. According to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the music world lost a legend not to an overdose or foul play, but to a health complication related to her past bariatric surgery.

What happens to the young children of the star? And what about the new generation of fans who just fell in love with her father? Let’s take a look.

Unprecedented danger

A small bowel obstruction was cited as Presley’s cause of death. This condition, a blockage in the small intestine, can result from the formation of scar tissue, hernias or even cancer. Without timely intervention, it can lead to death, as seen in the tragic case of Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley’s autopsy report indicated that the obstruction was caused by scar tissue that developed after her bariatric surgery years ago. Deputy medical expert Dr. Juan M. Carrillo stated this as a known long-term complication of such operations.

Dr. Carrillo also reviewed the autopsy toxicology results, which showed “therapeutic” levels of oxycodone in Presley’s blood, meaning levels in the medically helpful range rather than dangerous. Additionally, quetapine metabolite and buprenorphine were present but were not considered to have contributed to her death. Ultimately, the manner of death was determined to be natural with no evidence of injury or foul play.

Hidden airway

Dr. Michael Camilleri of the Mayo Clinic explained how the drugs found in Presley’s system could have slowed the motility of her intestines, making her more susceptible to obstruction by adhesions. However, he emphasized that the presence of such medications does not mean that a person is more likely to develop complications.

Presley, the only child of the late Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, died after being hospitalized following an apparent cardiac arrest in January. She was only fifty-four years old.

Her death, after complaining of abdominal pain, came as a shock to the world, especially her family. “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie,” they said in a statement released shortly after her death. Their plea for privacy during this difficult time struck a chord with fans across the globe.

In a touching tribute, Lisa Marie Presley’s last public appearance just days before her death was at the Golden Globe Awards. There, she cheered for the film Elvisa cinematic tribute to her late father, brilliantly portrayed by Austin Butler.

The King’s legacy

California-born actor Austin Butler’s portrayal of Elvis in the film of the same name earned him the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama. Interestingly, he still hasn’t given up on King’s Mississippi lot, even during his acceptance speech.

Butler’s dedication to his role was evident. His obsession with Elvis was so strong that he began to question whether he had always spoken like the rock ‘n’ roll legend. He even confessed that his obsession with the role could be seen as “unhealthy”, but he willingly immersed himself in the world and legacy of Elvis.

Butler ended his acceptance speech with a heartfelt shout-out to the King himself, expressing his love for the icon and vowing to never forget him.

While we still mourn the tragic loss of Lisa Marie Presley, it seems that Elvis’ spirit lives on through dedicated actors like Butler. And as we remember the Presley family, one question hangs in the air: How many more stories from the King’s life are waiting to be told?
