The Pentagon’s desire to develop weapons of mass destruction led by Leslie Groves (Matt Damon) prompted Oppenheimer to become head of the Manhattan Project. He then gathered America’s top scientists to make an atomic bomb in a desert that turned into a city called Los Amalos.
His success in producing the hydrogen bomb earned him the title “Father of the Atomic Bomb”. His popularity is slowly becoming a threat, so many are trying to bring him down by blaming the many victims of the atomic bomb.
