Dexter School (Mass.) four-star defensive tackle Liam Andrews announced his Penn State signing this morning. He broke the news live to 247Sports from his high school.

Andrews (1.95 meters tall, 110 kilograms) had offers from 21 other schoolshis other finalists are South Carolina and Wisconsin.
When asked why he chose Penn State over others, Andrews admitted it was a tough decision, but said their schedule suited his style. for On3.
“It was a very difficult decision for me … Penn State won after I took a break from talking to the coaches and doing some serious thinking … I chose Penn State because I have a feeling when I walk on campus. It just feels like home. Also the people there are amazing and really care about you. I have great relationships with many of the staff and even some of the players. Their scheme also suits my style of play very well. They move theirs [defensive] stacks up a lot and lets them play aggressively, which is perfect for me.”
In high school, Andrews was a two-way player, but at the college level he will play exclusively on defense.
According to 247Sports’ rankings, Andrews is the tprospectus op the state of Massachusetts#17 defensive line and #101 nationally for the class of 2024.
