Friendship Collegiate Academy (DC) five-star Dylan Stewart announced Tuesday morning that he had been signed to South Carolina, marking the largest recruitment in weeks for the 2024 cycle.

Stewart (6ft 5, 235lbs) finishes first overall in Washington DC and is second in position and No. 10 nationally in the Class of 2024, based on 247Sports composite rankings.
Needless to say, it’s a significant recruiting win for the Gamecocks as Stewart would have been a gem for any program. He had Offers from 34 other schoolsincluding Miami, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas and USC.
Stewart’s inclusion in the 2024 vintage has resulted in a significant jump in South Carolina’s national rankings. They started this week at number 24 in the country and are now at number 16.
