Thriller 40 Documentary

Thriller 40, directed by Nelson George will premiere on Showtime on 2nd December 2023 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Thriller 40 documentary will also be available for streaming and on demand for Paramount+ customers with the Paramount+ Showtime package on Saturday, December 2nd.

The documentary will feature behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Usher, Mary J Blige, Will.I.Am, Mark Ronson, Misty Copeland, Maxwell and John Landis.

The 40th-anniversary edition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” album, commonly referred to as “Thriller 40,” was released in 2022 to commemorate the iconic album’s four decades of influence and success.

Jackson was also involved in various charitable activities, supporting causes such as children’s hospitals, HIV/AIDS research, and disaster relief efforts.

Jackson’s life was marked by controversies, including changes in his physical appearance, legal issues, and allegations of child molestation. He was acquitted of all charges in a highly publicized trial in 2005.

Despite the controversies, Michael Jackson’s impact on the music industry is undeniable. His influence can be seen in the work of countless artists across genres. He received numerous awards, including multiple Grammy Awards, and was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.
