Smith (6-foot-1, 198 pounds) is not only the top receiver in his class, but the No. 1 receiver overall in the state of Florida and No. 3 nationally as measured by the 247Sports composite rankings.
So far, Smith has received offers from almost 40 different schoolswith Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Miami all considered contenders to trick him.
While Ohio State is in the doldrums absolute favorite Smith’s signing is a question of whether the Buckeyes can keep him since the No. 1 overall of the cycle, QB Dylan Raiola, sacked In December, just days after Smith committed to the Buckeyes. Raiola has since been ranked No. 1 in Georgia and is actively recruiting other big names for the Bulldogs.
