Vivo is known to be preparing a clamshell foldable mobile phone called the Vivo X Flip. There have been many rumors about the device in recent months. Well, a foldable phone was recently spotted on the GeekBench database, which also revealed its key specifications.

With the model number V2256A, the Vivo X Flip is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which has an octa-core processor with a base clock of 1.80 GHz and an Adreno 730 GPU. This is the same SoC as the Vivo X Fold+, a foldable phone. Folding is released in late 2022.
Using a taro-coded motherboard, the device carries 12GB of RAM and runs Android OS 13. The same benchmark is 1680 points for a single core and 4267 points for multi-cores. These results are quite competitive with leading smartphones.

From previous rumours, it is said that the Vivo X Flip will have a 6.8-inch Full HD+ 120Hz main display. Of course, the foldable phone will also have a secondary screen. However, even though a design sketch of the Vivo X Flip has been leaked, it is not known exactly what the size of the external display will be.
Another leak that has been revealed so far is a 4,400mAh battery, with support for 44W fast charging. The Vivo X Flip is also said to have a dual-camera setup made by Zeiss, with a 50MP Sony IMX866 main sensor and a 12MP IMX663 ultra-wide sensor.
Although the launch of the Vivo X Flip is said to happen in the near future, estimated in April, Vivo has yet to provide any information regarding the existence of its latest foldable phone. Therefore, detailed specifications are still uncertain.
